ラディッシュ成長中
２年生の技術科でラディッシュを育てています。
昼休みや放課後に水やりをする姿が見られ、ほほえましいです。
余談ですが、中学生の時、夏休みの自由研究で「プチトマトに罵声と褒め言葉を毎日かけたら発育に違いがでるのか」について調べたことがあります。
結果は・・・なんと毎日褒め言葉をかけたトマトの方がはやく赤くなりました！
人も植物も同じなのかもしれません。
２年生のみなさん、水やりの際、あたたかい言葉をかけてあげたらさらにすくすく育つかもしれませんよ。実がなるのが楽しみですね。
Funahashi Times No.53 「パピー（子犬）が生まれました！」
Hello there!
My brother’s dog gave birth to 6 cute little puppies last week. (“Puppy” is another way to say “baby dog”.) Half of the puppies are boys, and the other half are girls. 4 are black, and 2 are mixed black and white. My brother wants to give the puppies to others because he already has 3 dogs. He can’t take care of new dogs any more. He promised to give one to my other brother and one to my father. I also want to get one, but it is very difficult to send a dog from the Philippines to Japan. I can’t have any pets in my apartment too. Maybe I have to wait for a few more years before I can have my pet.

６月は各部活動で大会があります。
月末には期末評価もあります。
計画的に過ごしたいですね。
低視力予防週間
保健委員会の取り組みとして、「低視力予防週間」
が今日から実施されています。
取り組む項目は、
「メディア使用時間」
「就寝時刻」
「立腰」
「運動」
「栄養バランス（赤・緑のおかず）」
の５項目です。
自分の生活を振り返り、
目に優しい生活を意識してみましょう。
ご家庭でも声かけなどご協力よろしくお願い致します。
体育の授業では
雨が多かった５月でしたが、先週からは
晴れて外で思い切り活動できる日が増えています。
１年生は陸上競技、バトンパスを学習しています。
後ろを見ることなく加速してバトンを渡せるペアも
出てきました。
２年生はソフトボールです。
特別ルールを設定し、ゲームを楽しんでいます。
守備が日に日に上達しています。
３年生はサッカーです。
チームで作戦を立てて工夫してゲームに臨んでいます。
創校記念行事 舟中クリーンアップ作戦
創校記念行事として、生徒会が企画して、舟橋中学校に関するクイズと美化活動を行いました。学校周りの側溝の清掃、草むしりと石拾い、花植えをグループに分かれて行いました。生徒たちは自分が担当する場所を精一杯、活動に励んでいました。舟橋中学校で学べることに感謝し、舟中を大切にしたいという思いを再確認することができました。
創校記念式
今日は７２回目の創校記念日です。
朝、放送で、校長先生から、
舟橋中学校の歴史などのお話がありました。
ふるさとを大切に思い、母校を愛し続けていこう
という誓いを新たにしました。
６限目には、生徒会による記念行事が企画されています。

Hello there!
One of my favorite places in the world is the Funahashi Library. I go to the library almost every day. I study there for about 3 hours a day. I often see some of my students there. I sometimes meet some of my old students in the library too. Seeing them in the library makes me happy. I sometimes read English storybooks for kids there also. Sometimes, I join the kids and listen to Japanese storytelling. It is a comfortable place to study and read books. The people in the library are very kind too. They always greet me with a wide smile. The Funahashi Library is really a wonderful place.
