第７４回中新川郡民体育大会が今週末を中心開催期として始まります。

ぜひ、大会当日までの健康に気を配り、元気に学校での練習や大会に取り組んでほしいと思います。

５月２７日に学校創立７３年、創校３６年を記念して創校記念式を行いました。

校長先生からの創校クイズに全員で取り組みながら、本校の歴史や創校の願いについて全員で考えました。

また、同窓会長様のお話を真剣に聞き、一緒に参加いただいた副会長様にも、校歌を久しぶりに披露しました。

式典の後は、全員で愛校作業を行い、学校内外の清掃活動やプランターへの花植えなどを行いました。

全員の協力のお陰で、学校とその周辺は大変きれいになりました。

５月とは思えない暑い日でしたが、みんなの愛校心が一段と大きくなった１日でした。

Hello there!

My mother celebrated her 65^th birthday last week in the Philippines. I wanted to call her, but she was busy. She spent time with my eldest brother and his family. They went out and had lunch in a Japanese restaurant. They ate deep fried chicken and pork. They sent me pictures. They all looked happy. I also went to a restaurant here in Funahashi Village to celebrate her birthday. I ate delicious soba. I sent her the picture of the soba. She told me that she wants to try it someday. I wish we could celebrate her birthday together here in Japan next year.

今日から中間評価が始まりました。

１年生は初めての本格的なテスト問題に臨みました。

どの学年も大変真剣に問題に取り組み、学校全体に一生懸命に取り組む雰囲気が広がっていました。

5月21日（土）に行われた北信越大会に県予選を勝ち抜いた3年生の2ペアが本校から出場しました。

テスト期間が重なり、調整が難しい中ではありましたが、男子は新潟県、女子は福井県の選手と対戦しました。

強豪選手との試合はどちらも惜敗となりましたが、選手はベストを尽くして頑張りました。

今後の大会に向けて、貴重な機会を得ることができました。

Hello there!

How was your Golden Week? Was it fun? Did you go somewhere? Mine was wonderful. I visited my friend in Matsumoto City. She’s going to have a baby girl very soon, so I visited her.  I went there by car. I drove for more than 4 hours. We did fun things together. We cooked food together. We played the guitar and sang songs. We also played cards while eating snacks. It was a lot of fun. Please tell me about your Golden Week too.

５月１７日（火）

学校訪問研修がありました。どのクラスも生徒達は、意欲的に授業に取り組んでいました。先生達は、午後の研修会で、今日の授業を振り返りました。

生徒会の取組としてペットボトルキャップ回収を長期間行ってきたことにより

社会福祉協議会から車いすや貸し出し用の傘、傘立てを寄贈いただきました。

川﨑会長様から生徒会執行部に車いすなどが手渡され、生徒会長が代表して

お礼の言葉を述べました。安心・安全な学校生活につながるよう活用していきます。

本当にありがとうございました。

今は「うどん対そば」の投票がエコキャップで始まっています。

見たところでは………　そば、がんばれ！

５月２日（月）の６限に、体育館で生徒総会が行われました。
昨年度後期の活動報告と会計報告があり、その後、今期生徒会
の活動計画や予算について話し合いました。

Hello there!

My friend invited me to her house last Sunday. We had a barbecue party. We grilled vegetables, pork, beef, and fish. We also roasted marshmallows. They were delicious. We talked about many things while eating. We all laughed together and had fun. After eating, I played badminton with my friend’s children. We also played with bubbles. I really had a great time at my friend’s house. I hope we can have a fun time together again.
