新川地区大会に向けての壮行会を行いました。
いよいよ明日から始まる新川地区大会に向けて壮行会を行いました。
元気よくユニフォームで登場し、開会となりました。
生徒会長から激励の言葉をかけてもらいました。
代表して卓球部、女子バスケットボール部のキャプテンが選手宣誓を行いました。
校長先生からは、新川地区大会に出場する選手だけでなく、クラブチームや習い事で頑張っている人も自分が楽しく活動できることに感謝し、精一杯頑張ってほしいと激励をもらいました。
選手の皆さんの活躍を期待しています！！
日本の伝統芸能にふれて
Hello there!
I went to Funahashi Hall to watch a rakugo and shamisen concert last month. The shamisen performer was amazing. I want to learn how to play the shamisen. The performance inspired me. The rakugo comedian was also great. I’m not good at Japanese yet, so the show was difficult for me to understand. I understood only a few of the jokes, but I still laughed hard. I think Japanese traditional entertainment is interesting. I want to learn more about it.

和食で祝った母の誕生日

My mother celebrated her 65th birthday last week in the Philippines. I wanted to call her, but she was busy. She spent time with my eldest brother and his family. They went out and had lunch in a Japanese restaurant. They ate deep fried chicken and pork. They sent me pictures. They all looked happy. I also went to a restaurant here in Funahashi Village to celebrate her birthday. I ate delicious soba. I sent her the picture of the soba. She told me that she wants to try it someday. I wish we could celebrate her birthday together here in Japan next year.
中間評価（テスト）が始まりました。
今日から中間評価が始まりました。
１年生は初めての本格的なテスト問題に臨みました。
どの学年も大変真剣に問題に取り組み、学校全体に一生懸命に取り組む雰囲気が広がっていました。

Hello there!
How was your Golden Week? Was it fun? Did you go somewhere? Mine was wonderful. I visited my friend in Matsumoto City. She’s going to have a baby girl very soon, so I visited her. I went there by car. I drove for more than 4 hours. We did fun things together. We cooked food together. We played the guitar and sang songs. We also played cards while eating snacks. It was a lot of fun. Please tell me about your Golden Week too.
学校訪問研修
５月１７日（火）
学校訪問研修がありました。どのクラスも生徒達は、意欲的に授業に取り組んでいました。先生達は、午後の研修会で、今日の授業を振り返りました。
生徒総会
５月２日（月）の６限に、体育館で生徒総会が行われました。
昨年度後期の活動報告と会計報告があり、その後、今期生徒会
の活動計画や予算について話し合いました。

My friend invited me to her house last Sunday. We had a barbecue party. We grilled vegetables, pork, beef, and fish. We also roasted marshmallows. They were delicious. We talked about many things while eating. We all laughed together and had fun. After eating, I played badminton with my friend’s children. We also played with bubbles. I really had a great time at my friend’s house. I hope we can have a fun time together again.

Hello there!
The cherry blossom season is now over in Toyama. Did you walk around and look at the flowers? I hope you did. They were beautiful. As for me, I went to Orange Park, Joganjigawa Park, Kansui Park, and Matsukawa River. I enjoyed walking around and eating under the cherry blossom trees. Here are some of the pictures I took. If you have pictures of cherry blossom flowers, please show them too.
